Check'n in
Hi guys, had a '69 for 14 years but have no car right now.
Just dropped in to check ya'lls site out and maybe get some info on a cam I have laying around.
Really miss my old Camaro and hope to have another one day,had kids and it had to go but they are grown now and I have other toys.
Still miss the old '69 though, she was sport'n a '66 427 with rectangular port SHP heads,Edlebrock torquer intake & Holly 750dbl. pumper with an electric fuel pump.
It was bored .030 over with 11:1 compression forged TRWs,balanced steel crank,.575 lift solid lifter cam,Accell manual advance dual point dist. with cable drive tach and a Moroso oil pan and windage tray.
She had a Super T-10 4 speed trans with a 12 bolt 3:90 posi rear end too.
Man I miss that car!
I still like my big blocks though,my '78 GMC 3/4 ton 4X4 has a 454/turbo 400 and 4.56:1 gears,Headers,mild hudraulic cam,Edlebrock Performer intake and Holley 750 dbl. pumper [sm=gears.gif]` 400 auto has heavy duty clutches,flexplate and a shift kit.
My newest toy is Ford powered ( would have rather had a Chevy but the price was right )
It's a 19' Tahiti jet boat with a BB 460 and Berkley pump.
My daily driver in My 2000 Harley Davidson ElectraGlide Classic with of course lots of engine mods.[8D]
Yup,I gotta get me another first gen Camaro someday though.
Here's an old torn up pic of when I first stuff'd the Rat in the plane jane '69 back in 1978
My current "hot rod" sleeper truck.

RE: Check'n in
Stock hood wouldn't shut over the intake & carb so I bought another hood with an ugly scoop on it and took the scoop off just before I got a cowl induction hood for it.
I sold the car after I finished it up with the cowl hood and a bunch of other trim etc.
I got a bunch of the parts from another '69 I bought wrecked and parted out but I never got a picture of it done much to my regret.
Man I could still grow hair back then
Just a street fighter Camaro, nuth'n fancy but it was fast!
