Hey everybody,
I'm a member of the Swedish Camaro club, and thought I'd say hi.
I boughtmy 98 z28 with a 6-speed half a year ago. I've got this big love for american cars whichI inherit from my father.Acutally my dream car was always a Corvette C4 in its early years, 88 or so with the sawblade rims, when the behind had the beautiful shape (just what the C6 has taken back), but in my older years I simply find my Camaro as a way better car. And I love it!
Yesterday I took a carfax on my car, (a little late now, but I wanted to know its history)
It's manufactured in Canada but sold in Warren, Michigan.
But Salvage titeled in Batavia, Ohio, before being exported.
How bad is this Salvage title? Does is mean totaly-destroyed-never-let-it-touch-asfalt-again? haha
The car looks and feels mint condition.
Here's a picture of it:

In most cases it means that the car was damaged beyound the point where it was uneconomical to repair. In other words, the repairs would cost more than a similiar car would cost in the used car market. When this happens the insurance company pays off the insured and retains title to the damaged car, and then auctions it off to the highest bidder. If the car is later repaired, then upon inspection, the State will issue a salvage title.
The car looks really good, good luck with it.
