lol Not exactly. They're charging me something like $1,790. They're putting in a HD torque converter, shift kit, and Corvette Piston to make the clutch grab better or something like that. Plus I needed a transmission mount ordered from GM that costs something like $75.

Sometimes you have to pay more when you don't do the labor yourself...

That said, welcome to the forum. It sounds like the car has had some aftermarket goodies put onto it, including the SS equipment. If the car is a true B4C police interceptor it would have come with the regular Z28 trim etc. they never made an SS B4C.

If the car was in police service it might be interesting to look into the history of the car.

Stupid question.

yes you can ram air cars (like the ws6 trans am) the air already goes to the airbox i think if you put a cold airon witch dousent have alid like most cars do the air should be dumped rite into the filter, and i think Spectergt260 has a ram-air on his TA....im trying to get a ram-air hood for my z28.

i think so the extra cold air from the scoopes should give you a tiny bet more higher rpm power. if you got other mods(exhaust, ignition ect) it might give you more..thats y im looking for a ram-air hood like a ss style hood or iv been looking at hoods that look like the old stingray scoops like this on but a lil betdifferint
