Unhappy 1989 Camaro

I bought a freshly painted V6 1989 Camaro Rs about a month ago. About a week ago it was T-boned and the rear right side was severly damaged. I want to buy a new shell, but i dont know if the year will affect the outcome? Im looking into a 83, 84, and 91. will someone give me advice. and will the driveshaft make a difference? mines junk. I just need the body

Question

Hey man ive owned 9 camaros and 1 ta and i can tell you almost just about anything you want to know about the swapping parts onto a new body if youv got any questions id be happy to help. i noticed you was looking at a 91 camaro, since youve got a 89 the dash brackets are different unless you want to just cut the brackets out of the 89 and weld them in the 91. I had to do this once I had a 91 camaro with a damaged rear. I went and bought a 89 thought the 91 dash was gonna fit and long and behold it did not. But if i was you id stick with the 82-89 bodys. Have Fun! want kind of tranny do you have? do you have the t-5 or 700-r4 auto?
