i want to convert my 93 z28 to a ss replica, what would i need body wise to convert it?

 

One thing would be an SS hood.

 

IF you do this do not try and pass it off as a real SS. All you need are the hoos and wing and badges if you want to put them on. VIN numbers don't lie though so don't try and fool anyone.

 

maybe wheels, but i dont know about LT1s

and thats pretty gay, at least dont try to sell it as SS

well i've known ppl who've done it, and won car shows doing it. My father had a replica 69 camaro SS. Won about 5 or 6 car shows with it, and was faster than the accual thing, pretty ****ty huh???

 

Cloning a car for fun and enjoymentis one thing, trying to pass it off as the real is quite another. There is a real problem in the muscle car hobby right now with this.

 

i just like the look, why is that so "gay"? I'm not trying to pass it off as an SS, i just want the look. I have a friend who has a 96 mustang gt who did a S281saleen replica and it came out awesome. And now he's supercharging it. He tells everyone its not the real thing, but he doesn't care, it looks hotter than what it used to. And it really does.I'm not trying to pass of my Z28 as an SS, i just want the look cause i think its hott. And in time, my car will be faster than a LT1 SS stock.
