i need to replace my opti and im wondering y get one over another. i c the prices range from $100-500ish. my question what r the bennefits in gettin an expensive opti instead of a cheaper one they all do the same job. right?

as long as you change the water pump too youll be good with any opti the main reason the fail is because the waterpump leaks on them

chandler motorsports makes one that has a warrenty for under 200 bucks. im using a msd on the motor and have a gm performance for a backup. last gm performance opti lasted 100k miles and was still goin when i got rid of the car.

I got a Gm Performance also. It was spendy, but I didn't know about Chandler Motorsports at the time. I might go with Chandler the next time I change mine, if they're still around.

I only put about 3K miles on my car a year. Too much stuff to do where a Camaro just doesn't have the cargo capacity.
