engines in all thats left is to bolt up the trans and wire it up

Good deal man, any pictures? And drive her carefully....it was hard enough trying to avoid telephone poles with a V6!

lol i can always count on you to bring that up cam (not to mention its only 6 days till 1 year) but no no pics its dark out tomorrow i gotta fix the exhaust leak at the mani\y pipe and bolt on the trans but the engine runs and if everythings good ill try to get a vid of the car tomorrow

Starting it without a transmission in it is not a good idea. Wait till you have it all bolted up a supported properly. The motor mount keep the motor from twisting and the trans and trans mount keep the motor from tilting. If you have our exhaust bolted up it really would not take much to damage something.

the motor is supported with 2 big *** straps to keep it from falling backwards

good advice

since you drop engines I don't know why one would put an engine back in without the tranny

to OP

did you do this from the bottom? (no sexual innuendo there either)

ya i went through the bottom ive put this motor in with the trans and without imo its easier without
