93z camaro auto, runs great. No codes. Went for a drive, 2 hours later stopped for a coffee, went to start it again and I had no power in the way that when i put the key in to start it, there was nothing, no dash lights, no cranking, as if there was no battery in it. Strange I thought and started to panic. I had some tools, unhooked the neg side of the batt which was tight and clean, hooked it back up and then she started right up. Never happened again. I'm searching the forums...ICM maybe?, key lock cylinder? thx.

 

Was your security light on in the dash. Could be a hiccup in the VATS system.

 

for sure no sec light, it was dark and i would have noticed. maybe ill check out how to bypass the vats.
