winter?!?

Just one mroe question now: since that added weight over the wheels will be there for the next say 4 months, is there any side effects I should be aware of? Like am I gonna need new brakes back there since they'll have to work harder and will there be any noticeable damage to my suspension after all that?
The back brakes aren't going to be affected much either. Weight transfer during a stop throws more weight on the front brakes than the back anyway. And if you see a stretch of clear weather in the forecast, you can take the bags back out until needed again.
I'm watching the weather as well and waiting for the hit that we're supposed to get. Where abouts are your Chicago whereabouts?

Yes, the winter months are tough. Just last month I finally turned my car A/C off and opened the windows for the first time in six months. But sometimes in the morning it is just too cool, 50 or 60 degrees in December. Hell, someone has to live here and drive a Camaro.

It's not going to hurt anything on the car. 180 lbs. is equivalent to having another passenger in the back seat.

Kumho AS/Ts (the cheapest at the time lol) They're alright, still have to be careful after moderate/heavy rains though.

The main things are tires with good thread, and very light pressure on gas and brake pedals, and a steady hand on the steering wheel. No sudden moves. lol
