i have a question. will 275-35-18 fit all around my car it has been lowered its a 1997 z28. i just bought them as they were a good deal. hate to send em back! thanks. oh btw i have 18 by 8 in front and 18 by 9 in the rear.

worst case i can put 2 of the new 275 35s on the rear and the old rear 245s in front if they all dont fit. i have herd they should all fit.

i'd say it will be a tight fit but they SHOULD

lol ok thats what ive heard. the guy who put these rims on here sounded confident when i asked if they would fit.

imcdowel Apr 23, 2010 05:14 PM

why would they make 275 35 18s if they wouldnt fit 18s???

i dont think ull run into problems getting them on the rims. fitting the tires and wheels in the wheelwells may be a different issue with rubbing and im sure thats what the guys are saying. bigger is not an issue with the brakes if thats what u r thinkin.

ignore my dumb post up there ^ update incase you wanna through 275s on ur car- they fit like a dream! it was only an issue cause my car is lowered and theres not very much room above the tire! oh well i guess. otherwise though they fit. tons of grip.

i have 275's up front and thats the widest i believe, and 315's on the back with backspaced rims.

26X10.8 fit easy...you can stuff up to a 28x13.50 successfully with the BFH mod and correct backspacing on rim...no rub (stock suspension/normal driving/no launching). I realize your issue is gonna b with the top of the outside fender. If you launch @ strip or the rear shocks and springs are a little warn body roll might come into play and it may rub and cut the tire around the outside edge. If this occurs you can take a baseball bat and roll it gently between the tire and the fender and bend the lip up outta the way, u will see what i mean when you try it...you dont have the roll the fenders just the lip inside that is the danger. Another likely point of rub is the rear @ the bottom.
