Will LS7 Injectors work on my LT1???
 

Just wondering if ls7 Injectors would work in my lt1... I can get some 42lb injectors from a ls7 for pretty cheap but just wanted to make sure they would work.... I know all injectors are about the same but I dont really know to much about a LS7 so wondering if you guys could help!!

I mean i know a couple people are running ford 36lb svo injectors in some camaros so yes they should work. **Notice i said they would work, not be optimal. Your stock injectors should be good enough unless you have some sort of forced induction or something similar. Youd be running hella rich unless you have 600hp or more.

while all injectors are about the same, at the same time they are all different. things like the diameter of the nozzle and where the fuel in is located and the type of plug used varies from injector to injector. Things like pintles, coils, and how they activate are all the same. You will need to match up the injector to the intake, sealing O-ring and also the fuel rail... after that the plugs can be changed to match what your injector uses.

yes they will work.

do you have a bunch of work done to your motor? no point in putting in a bigger set of injectors if you haven't done anything along the lines of at least a cam swap

sorry havent posted on this thread in awhile.. i ended up doing more research and there shorter and wouldent work... i know lt1 and ls1 are interchangeable though but the lt1 is only around 43.5 psi and i believe the ls is around 50 so its not going to flow as much (ie. 38lb ls1 are only going to flow around 34 in a lt1).. and as for mods Im doing a stroker build and its about 80% complete.. wish i could put pics up of my stuff so you guys could check it out but everytime i try to post it says pics are to big and i dont know how to resize them =(.... but im thinking of buying a set of 38lb 03-04 cobra injectors and just buying the adapters.. i can get those all new for under 200 or to actually buy 36lb lt1 injectors its around 350 LoL
