well i just went and checked. it was 28 1/2 inch on the drivers side and 28 3/16 on passenger. both tires have the same pressure. could the difference have somethng to do with it? and these are the best i could do with the torque bushing.

craby 07-02-2012 08:33 PM

the bushing doesnt look right, i would take it out and see if its all tore up.

that stock or higher, what is your tire hight? the 4th gen sets about 1/4 to 3/8 in higher on the driver side so your normal there.

tires are about 24 7/8, and i should be have time to get it out tommorrow. would that bushing cause it to do that? i guess i should of said about what was happening. threw first gear its fine ( just spinning mostly) but in 2nd it feels jumpy like the tires are trying to grab but takes a sec, after that its fine. sorry for the late info of it. not sure if that helps any.

that sounds more like the rearend clutch in the center section is slipping and then grabing. check fluid level in rearend

dopez28 07-02-2012 09:45 PM

well its getting late here so i didnt check the level. i can do that after work tomorrow, but i assume that if its low it must be leaking or used? and i noticed there is a wet spot on the side of it as if something might be leaking. i have never messed with a rearend so i dont exactly know, im just guessing from how most things with fluid are.

do you notice if your posi is working or only one wheel spins.

dopez28 07-02-2012 09:56 PM

during when it happens, i dont know. but in first gear. i can turn it sideways, so im sure there both spinning then.
