Default What is the way to seal the water pump?

On a '94 Z28, what is the best way to seal the water pump when putting it on? Should I use a gasket maker by itself, new gaskets by themselves, new gaskets combined with a sealer, etc.?

I am replacing my Opti and decided to replace the water pump too.

Well I make sure to scrape and clean gasket surfaces with acetone and use liquid teflon on the bolts that go into the water passages.

i usually put a little high temp rvt on one side. then if removing, the gasket stays with one part.
