Quick question is the coolant sensor on the water pump called the Coolant temperature sensor or Coolant temperature sender? I just ordered the sensor just hoping it was not the sensor for the gauge but for the PCM. Thanks

 

You picked the right one. GM calls it the Engine Coolant Temp (ECT) sensor. It talks directly to the PCM.
