Default turn key engine

well the camaro is dead so i need a engine i was going to just drive my 2nd car till i built my own 383 but she desided to get totaled but im looking for a 383 stroker ready to go just hook and buck.

I was told to stay away from golen

Stay local and stay with somebody who knows lt1's and very well with a reputation not from there word of mouth

im putting 6K on side to do it that should take care of it and how long will it take to remove and out it is

depends on the mechanic it does. took my time i did and it was a week long ordeal.

I bought my z28 with the 383 engine out, so I have to put it back in. I went from the top. Took the motor mounts off and turned the engine alittle sideways and had it bolted up in about 2 hrs., but the tranny was already in the car.

It can be done either way. But from what I have read (haven't done it myself) it seems that the consensus would be to drop it out the bottom.
