I got my 95 Z up to 110mph before sadly getting pulled over. The cop drove up next to me not behind me , gave me some insulting words of advice("F#$#ing insane") then drove off. since then the fastest iv gotten was 98mph against a 240 sx.

 

i had mine up to 150 but that was on the auto bann. now it's headed back to florida be cruzin down 95 pretty soon.

 

I'm kind of shocked that its locked at 150.... I was amazed on how much meat that engine had going past 130......

 

I hit my revv limiter at about 122 (my speedo was 4mph slow with my old tires) so I was about 126 on the limiter. It got there pretty good for a V6.

I had my Wife's car over 130 easy but had to stop quick... I do mean quick... Her rotors are now purple... Guess it is time for new ones.

The fastest I know I was driving was 132 in a 88 Buick LeSabre T-type (see pic). The speedo in that stops at 85, but the cop's radar told me my speed. I didnt get a ticket... He gave me an escort to my exit (bout a 1/4 mile away) and even blocked traffic so I could exit without stopping (you had to cross oncomming traffic) It was about 11:30 at night and I was sick, I just wanted to get off the freeway before losing more of my poisoned fish dinner. After I handed him my reg and stuff I opened the door to do my thing and he slammed it shut and told me to sit there. Well he stepped forward when he closed my door and I puked on him. It was nasty chunky fishy smelling stuff too. When he walked back to his car he was shaking the stuff off his legs.

GPS read 141mph in my 3.4L driving through S. Carolina back to FL (pulled over by Charger, Viper radar detector worked fine...but the cop was using the on-and-off method with his radar gun. Varified speed, no ticket, spare details due to long post).

Now on 5 cylinders, getting up to 110mph makes me think that I'm gonna shoot the dead cylinder through my hood (so I don't even touch 100 anymore).

Forgot to mention in my thread that I only running on 5 now...

Still truckin' along though. Gotta' love Chevy's.
