I doubt that you are going to find new Z rated tires for $80. However, you can check E bay out and look for some used tires with at least 50% thread left and get them at a reasonable price.

The HTR Z'sare z-rated and they only cost $68fromTireRack.com. But likeI said they don't seem to haveany more of them in stock. I'm looking at getting some Fusion ZRI tires but i'm not convinced yet.

hey man ive got fuzion zri 245/50/16s and the HOOK!!!!! ive got them on the back only and they grip and hook really well. i would definately recomend the fuzion. i paid 228$ for everything. so i give it a + but dont let anyone tell you its a z rated tire. it says zri thats the name brand but they are w rated. big 10 (tire shop here in alabama) said that it was z rated as well as everyone else. i go to firestone and they show me the tire and say find the z rating on the tire. all i found was a w.

Speed rating "W" is one step up from "Z" rated tire. For the uninformed that means the "W" is rated at more MPH then the "Z".

Z is anything 149+, so technically it can include W and Y. The W and Y are just specific speed ratings. W being 168 and Y being 186.

the reason that they started working backwards from Z to W and Y is because when the tire speed chart was made there were very few cars that could pass 149, and new h/p is pushing top speeds higher and higher so the tires had to be specified by using the W and Y
