passed emissions --- failed egr vis and fun-- im in ca so smog is problem is there a difference between lt1- lt-4 egr valve

 

If I remember correctly, the factory LT4 didn't have an EGR valve because of the cam used.

 

so it wont go through smog with the lt4 motor ? because it failed visual and function on smog but passed on emissions

 

there should be bolt holes in the back of the intake for egr and egr pipe. you could have a shop machine the holes in and put in a egr and pipe or just cut the egr off so it will bolt on and look like its functional. egr pipe should bolt up without mods but without drilling wont function. edelbrock has a lt4 air gap intake with egr connections.
