Default It starts, it runs....but doesn't sound right

So here's the backstory: I took the car apart the first week in July, replaced the lifters, deleted EGR, and deleted AIR. Had a base cal done on the PCM by an experienced LT1 tuner. Finally got it all put back together, and started it up for the first time tonight. Here's the result:

I only let it run for the two minutes because I got scared and shut it off. I don't think the oil pressure needle moved the entire time--that is, it was at that position before I started it and well after I shut it back off.

Any thoughts?

Oh you got oil pressure!!. Sensor most likely bad. It went up the moment you turned the key on. I would be more concerned about your ses light. Being you had a tune?

get your lifters set then see how it runs. check the wires and connection to the oil pressure sensor. bad sensor can go max reading

Well I think I found my culprit:

Reached my hand around to the back of the engine where the oil pressure sending unit is this morning before work, and found this: the plug is completely severed. No idea how that happened...

A friend of mine suggested possibly running the motor at 2500 rpm or so to work the lifters a little harder to get oil working through them...is that a good idea?

I didn't soak them in oil, nobody ever mentioned that beforehand and I didn't see it written anywhere that it should be done. And the cam wasn't changed, I just had a bad lifter that was making noise before, so I replaced all of them.

Soaking them helps a lot at start up. You wouldn't have that dry period before oil can reach them. I would run the rpms up a little to get them to mate better with old cam.

These are roller lifters right? There's no mating or break-in to the cam needed on rollers.
No more than a pair of roller skates need to get broken in to the pavement!
