starter
Quick question, I have a mini starter and it drags when the engine is at running temp. I had the battery checked and its fine. So my.question is, can you rebuild it like ypu can a stock starter? And does that sound like a tired starter to yall?

sounds more like its over heating, try a heat shield first and see if that helps.

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PWM-9600/ Thats not a sign thats somethings wrong with these LT engines is it? |
nope the motors not hot. try the shield first, its usually the windings that go south so rebuild will probly not do much.

It's not engine heat that's affecting the starter, it's exhaust heat.
Starter fine when cold, but not fine when hot...you have a heat issue. You want to try and isolate the starter from the heat source. |
