Default ST vs LT Headers

Ive been looking at headers and I found some ST SLP headers and some LT Hooker headers, and I was wondering what exactly is the difference between these two types? Which set would you suggest? And if I get these should I also get the Y-pipe to run with them? Thanks!

i think everyone would agreee to most definatly go with the LT . You get alot more HP out of them and have alot better flow. I believe they also effect emmissions so if thats a problem i would look into that ...hooker also makes some sick headers

Yeah, don't waste your time with the short tubes. The amount of effort you spend on putting these things in should be worth some hp. Those shorty's are only good for hot rods that like to look good at shows. You'll have less ground clearance, they'll be loud, and they're gonna make you angry putting them in, but it's one of the best mods you can do. Good time to change your spark plugs, too.

Personally, I would go with the SLP headers and Y pipe, but to each their own.
