Did you replace the stock speakers with aftermarket? Or are still trying to use the stock speakers?

If you're still using the stock speakers, there's your problem. Stock speakers will not work with an aftermarket head unit without a special crossover box. I will try and find the link to one to show what it is, but it is much easier to just buy aftermarket speakers.

Here it is. But like I said, it's just much easier (and cheaper in the long run) to buy aftermarket speakers and splice them in.

if you have a bose system then its easier to wire in new aftermarket speakers. the stock amp is buit into the speakers in front and the amp for the base is in the rear driver side fender compartment, opposite side as the spare tire. i use crutchfield, they send the adapters and directions with the stereo, amp and/or speakers.

They make adapters? Damn! I didn't know. Hahaha. I just used my smart wiring skills, cut the plugs off, spliced, soldered and heat wrapped the correct wires based off the colors. But had I known there were adapters, I suppose my job could have been easier.

yep you wire in the adapter to the stereo and plug into the exsisting wiring. have to wire in the amps though and if you have stock amps you can use that little wire thats there but i just didnt trust it to carry the power i wanted.

Well do you have the bose system? Is the head unit you put in new or used? Who put it in and did they know what they were doing? Kind a stupid question since it's not working.

If the PO put new speakers in, chances are he probably didn't wire them either at all or even correctly.
