look for more wet wires and run it for a while may dry it out,,, well with all the bad there has to be come good here somewhere. between you me and them,,, lol, if it doesnt clear up call up the place you got it from and tell them its not working right. if they offer to replace do it.

The opty sends timing pulses to the PCM, the PCM triggers the ICM which then fires the coil, the spark from the coil goes back into the HV section of the opty and is then sent to the plugs. So, if a bad opty is not sending timing signals to the PCM the coil won't get fired. Do yourself a favor and replace the water pump also, because when the shaft seal on the pump wears out the it will leak on the opty, and you will be doing the job again.

Yeah, I'll look at it again in the morning. I'm a little po'd at it right now. 3 times I tore that thing apart. It fired right up it just got worse and worse as I drove it down the road. Didn't think I would make it back..lol

I don't know if you changed the ignition wires. But if they are as old as the car, it is likely that they dried out and have cracks in the insulation. If water gets into the cracks it can reach the core and create shorts to ground. Also make sure they are routed as the factory did, to avoid burns, cuts, and other damage to the wires.
