Default running rough after msd wires/distributor/coil

1997 camaroOk got a questioni pulled the opti and changed it out, and it started fine but was running rough. Sounds like its got a spark knock while driving it, but anyways as longas i got it started can I fix the knock with timing screw on the an msd distributor.I ask this because i think it also might be because i didnt point it at the number one cylinder afterstabbing it but if it started it shouldnt be that far off right? Any kind of advice would be very helpfull.thanks!

If it's running rough make sure you have the correct wires to the correct cylinders and you don't have any burned wires or cracked plugs. If the car is actually knocking crank the timing as far down as it will go.
