He explains everything except for one of the most important ones...

How can you get a better gas mileage out of your daily driven Z28?

Clean Air filter and keep it tuned up, that' about the only way to get decent gas milege. And don't rod the heck out of it.

Haha, it's always semi-amusing when someone mentions gas mileage with a z28. Specifically getting better mileage. :P

If you truly want the best mileage you can get out of your car, what you're going to want to do is: CAI, full exhaust, custom tune, and learn to keep your foot out of it. Those breathing mods combined with the tune will make your car just about as efficient as it can get, but it won't mean anything if you don't drive it like it's a gas-saving DD.

Headers and a CAI didn't do anything noticeable for my mileage. To be quite honest, the best way to get good gas mileage is to keep your foot off of the skinny pedal on the right...

To be even more honest, if your looking for a 300 horsepower camaro with a V8.. gas mileage isn't really something these are prided on. Smart cars.. now those babies will go forever on a pin drop of gas. God help you if you hit something though haha

My point exactly. I mean come on, 15 MPG combined? Jeez...I'm a college student, if gas prices go up I'm screwed. If I had that kinda money I might as well had bought a newer car.
