spartan you cant destroy an engine by driving it, i mean whats the point in driving then if it destroys your engine.i see plenty of lt1s and sbc's near 200k with no issues

i'd say he's a little higher than 315 at the wheels...i'd say more around 340 or so...but taht's assuming someone knew how to port the heads as well. as far as nitrous, there are plenty of guys that run it. since you went forged internals, you can handle a little bigger shot. its a general concensus that the highest shot to use on a stock shortblock is 150. i was thinking about running a 125 shot at the most, but we'll see if i ever get there

starting an engine causes wear on the engine no? so there for if you didnt drive it, it would be good as new.

lol it doesnt matter... engines wear out just from driving them... admit it.. its a fact.. You can put all the love and care into your engine for 30 years and it still wont be the same.
