rear tires
this coming spring i would like to do drag radials on the rear tires and i was wondering what size tires will fit on stock rims... i recently put 60's on the camaro for a little better snow driving and i saw that normal 245's wont fit cause it hits both ends of the wheel well. i had to find a low profile 245 and was thinking even maybe 235's but anyways!
SO i was wondering what size drag radials will fit stock rims...

with stock salad shooters the max diameter is 26.6 inches
- BF Goodrich makes a special drag radial that can also be streeted, 255/50 x 16 r; it fits and I have run them on my z28 and salad shooter wheels.
- Nitto makes a couple 555r size 245/50/16 that are for dragging only and they grip slightly better than the BFG's at the track. No good on street ~ aand they have a duel purpose tire that can do street and track duty~ same size but 200 rated tire wear. 555rs 16 inch
- Mickey Thompson and Hoozier both make sticky tires that fit
- Rumor has it that Toyo will have one soon.

alright ill look into those tires my concern is that the tires that i just put on for the winter are 235/60/16 and they have another number on them and i think they are the hight cause normal 245s wont fit on the car so ill look into those and on tire rack
