Radio Issue
Ok, as you all know the BOSE system in the 4th gens wasn't all that reliable when it got old. Anyway, i had a new basic system installed about 3 years ago and have never had any problem with it. My car hs been sitting for about 4 months now with a bad opti and i haven't dirven it. I had that fixed finally and the car runs like new but for some reason my radio shows no power. All fuses seem to be fine, and this only happened after the car sat.
I don't know if this helps, but the radio and electronics worked even when the car didn't run. If i turned the key backwards to accessory everything was fine. Then the next day, i had no power to the radio. All dash lights and such work fine.

^^^agree check your fuses. first u need to find out if u are getting power to the radio. could be the radio is shot. if no power then u need to backtrack to the next power soarse.

I haven't had the courage to remove the interior panels yet cause im worried about breaking the plastic. is there anything I should look out for in paticular? Also, the only fuse i found for the radio was by the driver door; is there another one, or one that controls the radio and something else?

if the plastic does not come off easy then u missed a screw. to get to the radio panel screws u have to take the lower driver side panel off (just under the streering shaft) and there are screws on the left side of the glove box that hold the radio panel on that side. once u get the side panel off it will be more clear. its not a big deal just dont forse it and keep track of the screws.
