Default Radiator bleeding

How do you bleed the radiator. I know you have to unscrew the two bleed valves but does the car have to be running or heated up before you bleed them?

u bleed it while u fill it. then start the car, as the coolant level drops refill, when it quits dropping bleed again while car is running. then take it for a drive a couple blocks down the street and back and refill and bleed again. it works best if u can park the car on an incline with the front of the car up. helps the air out of the engine.

Thank you for the help on bleeding the radiator it worked just like u said. Now new question can a fuel regulator work intermittionally? the car will start and then all of a sudden quit running and then it will start and run fine the quit again and I also smell a slight fuel order in the oil

pull the vacumn hose off the fuel pressure reg and see if its got gas in it. check the fuel pressure and see if u are lossing pressure after u shut the motor off or a bad fuel pump. could have a number of things going on. fuel in oil can be a stuck or bad injector leaking down into the oil. the pressure reg usually puts gas in the intake through the vacumn hose. have u changed the fuel filter?

also if the ignition is shutting down then u are pumping fuel in the system that is not gettting burned. so when it quits check for spark at the plugs. pull a plug wire and stick a screwdriver in the end of the wire and hold it close to something that is grounded like the exhaust manifold. should be sparking when the motor is turned over. take two to do. well i guess u could get little bro to hold it and if its getting spark watch em jump around and cuss when u turn the motor over.

If your fuel pump is going bad then your fuel gage will show way past a full tank of gas when the key is turned over.

Hello again I have another maybe stupid question for you. The two wire connections attached to the coil should those be seperated one behind the coil bracketor the other in front of bracket? I am having to break it down again to replace the cap and rotor and wondering if the intermittant stalls could be from the two wire connections to the coil.
