Exclamation please help!

hey guys, my 94 camaro z28 started staling the other day and stopped all on its own but is now running rough...the exhaust smells like gas and it was smoking a bit... it feels like its missing alot of power too. it wont go past about 3500 rpm when i drive it...any ideas toward whos to blame?

-it has a k&n intake no cats and a flowmaster muffler with 3' pipes auto with a shift kit.

Well my mind goes to something like a bad opti, o2 sensors, or something else that would send a signal to your pcm to adjust your fuel/air mix and timing. Where its not doing that, I am curious if its something easy to over look like low tranny fluid. Not sure about the smoke out of the exhaust though.

If your acceleration has been affected, saying that it wont go over 3500 rpms and a major loss in power makes me think of some catalytic converter problems. Maybe getting clogged, who knows.

Oops didnt read the first post fully. :-p

well if it doesn't throw a code, you would think that would eliminate the o2 sensors or ignition module. What about the EGR valve???
