I just put new plugs in so I guess I need to pull them and clean em. Brand new fuel pump and fuel filter. Need a new fuel pressure gauge to see what kind of pressure I'm dealing with here.

what kind of plugs, if i remember right not supposed to clean iridium plugs with abrasion or chemicals.

With that said, if you're running platinum, I'd dump them. Worst type of plug out there.

So what should we run? Certainly not copper that need to be changed every 30k. I just got done installing platinum since that was oem.

they will work, ngk irridium are the best for the lt1. i am currenty testing some bosch irridiums that are holding out so far. both are 7 buck plugs. https://camaroforums.com/forum/93-02...ch-plug-65777/

Dang...well I am NOT changing theses plugs again anytime soon...lol..platinum will have to do

I'm using platinum in 5 of my cars and not a lick of problems

Im goin through the same problems after my opti swap. Glowing exhaust manifolds, idles fine but when i put it into gear it loses all its power. Can't even back it out of the driveway. Ile keep troubleshooting but if you figure it out first let me know. Thanks

check your plug wires again to make sure there where they are supposed to be. real easy to get a couple of em crossed. also look for a wire thats throwin sparks. could use the dark test. open hood when its really dark and with motor running look for spark from the wires.
