Default Optispark alternative

I am bout to change my distributer and am wondering if there is a better alternative to the optispark. It has always given me problems

I know MSD put out a replacement for the opti at the beginning of this year. I've tried posting feedback on it because I too wanted input on its performance. I think one of the members mentioned it was to early to judge the MSD on a long term basis versus its cost (aprx $525 from summit).

A good alternative is the Delteq system. It removes the high voltage section of the Opti, by using 8 separate coils, similiar to the Northstar engine. This removes the ozone source from inside of the distributor, which with moisture is a main cause of corrosion & failure. The electronics are retained because of all the sensors involved. www.delteq.com.
