oil pan seal

Default oil pan seal

so i cant get the pan seal on my 95 Z28 M6 to seal and it really pissing me off so this weekend im going to pull it out and put an new pan and seal in it to see if that works any idea to the cause would be help ful

make sure you clean off around the engine block where the gasket is going any little bit of debris can completly ruin the seal

they get old and if the motor is overheated they get hard. thats what happened to mine. i did mine when i was changing the opti so things were out of the way. did the pluigs and plug wires then to.

get the felpro one piece gasket kit for the oil pan i'm working on mine this weekend the kit comes with some other gaskets, picked it up at napa for about 30$
