im new but i started this name so i could get some answers to a couple of my questions.

i have a 94 z28 lt1 , 6spd and i just replaced my clutch and now everytime i go to let out on the clutch there is a chatter/ vibration but as soon as i begin to accelerate it silences....any one know?

also, every now and then when i turn the car off there is a ticking/clicking noise that starts behind the dash and will only shut up if i crank it back up.


any input will be appreciated

Either you didn't use the proper clutch or you didn't do the job right. Was the flywheel resurfaced? Did you put in a new pressure plate mtching the new clutch disk? Are you using a high performance clutch? If you are, the chatter is common and may go away when fully broken in.

As for the ticking sound you will have to find out exactly where it is comong from, but I suspect you are listening to your exhaust sytem cooling down.
