Default New headers

I want to put new headers on my 94 Z28. Is this a good set for you basic street car?http://www.jegs.com/i/Pace+Setter/766/72C1335/10002/-1# They are pacesetter mid-tubs.

just get longtubes...much better idea

the mid length headers are still good...but the longtubes will give you more torque which is great for street racing and having power as soon as you step on the gas. they also give u a few more rwhp then the mid lengths.

go with long tube for sure. do you guys think its a big deal to get coated of not, i know it keeps the heat down but if you dont get the coated ones will their be problems?

it really varies from car to car...no matter what you should wrap them to keep temperatures down and i also sprayed them with a high temp coating over the wrap just to be safe

absolutely get coated ones...painted ones rust through and putting headers on these cars is a job you only want to do once

+1 and more torque is good

My buddy has these headers:

they are ceramic coated and are great. No rust yet and used a daily driver.

i thought long tubes were harder to do and shortys were for HP... can some one clear that up for me...
