Lt4 knock module question
 

Hey guys. I have a 97 lt1 with long tube headers, no cats, no egr or air, and an aluminum intake elbow (deleting the air silencer). The car is pretty loud. I've read that the lt1 knock module is sensitive to excess noise. I've had the car looked at before and I believe the timing was constantly retarded 20 degrees? Would an lt4 module help with this? (and is it the module or the sensor?)

yes lt4 knock module could help you. module goes in the pcm.
