The Lt4 cam will give a good boost, but to get the full benefit you need to get the full kit, including LT4 springs, heavy duty timing chain & sprocket set, and roller rockers. GM use to list two varieties of the Hot cam, one using the standard rocker arms and one for roller rockers. For best results get the one for the LT4 roller rockers, which produce a higher lift. Also LT4 heads and intake manifold will complete the package.

Just some insight if you buy the "LT4 Hot Cam kit" from GM performance parts it comes with stiffer valve springs, and the 1.6 roller rockers. It's a pretty good deal.

Forgot to mention, get the PCM tuned after you change the camshaft.

Thanks for the advice. I am going to go with the Hot Cam Kit. At Summit its only $529.95, which is not a bad deal. Thanks once again
