If you wanna look on the bright side, it would cost you more money and a lot more time to change it back to a shaft driven pump.

Yeah thats true.....its not costing me nothing but 20.00 bucks a month to set here...lol....so Im not in a rush..lol. I may wait till work looks a little better and save my cash...lol

CSR will repair it for 1/2 that. I sent one in for repair and they sent me a new pump for $80.00. Just make sure it's wired correctly, fused through a relay. It should blow the fuse before melting anything.

Yeah someone didnt have it wired good. I rewired and added a inline fuse also....I'll look in to the rebuild. Thanks!!!

I still havent made myself buy a electric wp. But I found a place close by that I can go pull the water pump off and get all the drive parts for it for only 10.00.

Will that drive gear come out without removing the timing chain gear?

no the drive gear is behind the cam gear.

Actually I didnt even think about that one, I was thinking about the shaft that goes to the waterpump...but I bet that gear is gone also on mine.....dang why did they have to change the bolt pattern on the water pump.....would be nice to use my older style electric pump on there!!
