Think my next step should be is a good tune up changing spark plugs and wires?

 

And could the spark plugs cause it to idle up and down between half and a grand and a half and sometimes die

 

i think the crank code is telling u the motor is missfiring. lol. but then u know that. yah wires could be it.

 

from what i've read, if you don't have o2 sensors or a faulty o2 sensor, your car can and probably will run like crap. also, if you burned a plug wire, that would cause a misfire, lol.

 

thanks for the input think im gonna try the tune-up if any thing else comes to mind please feel free to add it just going through the motions of tryin everything lol.

 

the o2 sensors on the exhaust where my pipes hook to the headers is where the holes are welded up should i leave it or get new pipes?
my wires for the o2 sensors r cut and taped up and tucked up underneath it

 

well done alot of tune up work today changing plugs in a lt1 with headers is such a pain but well worth it found that two of my spark plug wires were touching the headers and had burnt through so it was like driving a v6 but now the car is so much more powerful and sounds strong and healthy like it was supposed to jus glad it was something simple oh yea after puttin em in went down the road it blew the ignition fuse replaced it and now its fine but anyone know y it would blow that fuse? thanks for everybodies comments in this matter glad to see other people appreciate american muscle!!!

yea everything is great on it now gotta replace window motor today it went out the car has lived a rough life with previous owners but a lil tlc has really helped the car out and it runs better than it has in years
