LT1 loosing oil bad
about 3 weeks ago i charged the cap and rotor. Ever seance then i have been loosing oil. in inside a month i have lost enough for the low oil light to come one. What is the likely place it could be leaking from?

If the engine leaks form the opti-spark, chances are it doesn't leak when it's cold cause any oil would have settled back in the crankcase. Get underneath the car while it's running and check for obvious trouble around the distributor. If you don't see anything out of the ordinary, shut the car off, get back under it, and wait for oil to drip.....It seems though, that if oil were getting on the opti, it would fry it. I had that happen when my water pump leaked.
Also, top off your crankcase with a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer....it will at least slow a leak long enough for you to fix it and will keep your engine from frying if the oil light should come on again. If the oil lights been on for too long, you may as well rip the thing apart and re-build it.
