i wanted to do an ls1 swap myself but i dont have that kind of money and i dont have a problem with an lt1, except for the opti-spark thing

Toss the opti-spark for one of these



Its made by del-teq (sp?) anyway what it does is eliminate the opti-spark from controling spark. The opti-spark stays in place and the only thingthe distributor is usedfor isa crank refrence signal. Gone are the days of replacing the cap and rotor. System works well too and very easy to install. It will set you back about $500 though.

I wouldn't buy it solely for the fact that it clutters up an already overcluttered engine bay. That thing would make it look fugly...

i saw it in this magazine where this guys had that done to his camaro but he used the msd coils. he basicly went threw alot
