looking for a turbo
#2
Finding the turbo and mounting it is the easy part. You will need a fuel system and programming plan to run it properly. Your best bet is try to find a complete kit designed for the LT1. I don't know of any turbo kits but there are some supercharger kits that are good.

I'm essentially obligated to tell you that turbocharging your lt1 isn't the greatest idea. These motors are high compression engines (read as 10.5:1), and they don't take too well to anything over 6 pounds of boost. Maybe 8 if it's a low mile, well taken care of block.
So before I answer your question(s), I have some for you. What modifications have you already done? What are your final goals? What is your budget?
Answer those, and everyone on here will be better able to help you out.
