so did a charged up battery make a difference? a really low battery can cause a buzzing sound when you try to start.

if the battery is way low then the amps needed to engage the starter may not have been there. the cables will only carry so many amps. i see when you jumped it you left it hooked up for a time, was the car running that it was hooked up to so to charge the battery?

ok it should have made it at least try to start. do you have an aftermarket alarm system? you may need to back track and disconnect all the wires to the new stereo.

Just got it back from almost 24 hours trickle charging at AAP.

Results:
Good
Volts: 12.39
Measured: 950 CCA
Rated: 720 CCA
Temperature: 76*

Just measured it myself, got 12.5 Volts

Having a problem with the alarm now, went off when i hooked up the battery, and the car won't start. Its going off when i try to start it too. Im pretty sure its aftermarket because when i bought the car the owner told me the previous one put some fancy alarm system in it and there is different tones for the siren going off.. I have a remote, on the screen there is a picture of a car, with half of it cracked/black lined out.. Im not sure if it works.. ill get a new battery for it, but pressing the buttons does nothing. Tried unlocking the doors with the key, still goes off

There also is a switch under the dash cam..

I took the head unit out also, and unplugged the adapter for it
