Default KBB Values

Looking for opinions on whether kelly blue book value "private party" value for a 93 with 68000 miles seems reasonable at $2,990. The second owner is asking $4,250 for a fairly well taken care of 93 with a few minor issues, which I think is a little high since it kbb retails for $4,460...

Any thoughts on KBB values as related to actual market value would be appreciated.

KBB is heavly dependant on region, and the value of that car is affected somewhat by the time of year. Find out what is wrong with the car and approximatly how much it will cost to fix, then deduct that amount from the KBB value and that should be your highest offer for the car. Hint start you offer at about $500 less.

also, KBB is not the most reliable source. for a 93, i personally would not pay more than 3500-4000. its a 93! that car is already 12 years old.
