Default Intake Manifolds?

Are there any aftermarket intake manifolds for the LT1 besides the Edelbrock LT4 intake?

Not from what I've seen, the LT1 intake isn't very complex and it flows much more air than a stock LT1, or even lightly modded LT1 can use. That being said, I'd also like to note that unless you purchase LT4 heads you can't make any use of an LT4 intake. The only difference between the two is the LT4 intake's runners are raised .10" to allow for a larger intake volume and better intake angle on the LT4 heads.

There are a few small companies that modify the stock manifold or make aftermarket manifolds but they are very few and far between.

Alright thanks for the info guys. I decided not to go the LT4 route and ordered a full TPIS valvetrain with a ZZ9X cam, aluminum 1.6.1 rockers, hyd. roller lifters and titanium springs. I also got all the things needed to make it strong and reliable like cromoly pushrods and ARP rocker studs. I am also having TPIS do the tune on the PCM seeing is how I am 10min from there shop. I will also be ordering a Centerforce clutch, Hooker long tubes and off road y-pipe with a QTP cut out. I hope that I made the right choice in going with TPIS it sounds like they really know what there doing. I would like to hear some feed back on what everyone thinks, please feel free to let me know positive or negitive.

I've never heard of them until now. I just looked them up though and they look pretty cool (it looks like they produce some sweet looking engines).

Yeah they are not a huge company by amy means but they do have credit in the racing world. They build many engines not SCCA World Challenge cars, T-1 and T-2. I heard of them originally through a friend with a 94 T/A Lt1. There very easy guys to talk to and are really helpful getting you what you need.I'll post spec on the cam sometime toworrow.

So I woke up in the middle of the night and couldnt get back to sleep soI started looking into what I had just ordered and realized I am a dumbass. For only$100 more then all the valvetrain parts i just ordered i can get a set of fully ported stock casting that come assembled what all the partsI just order. So nowI will be running all the same parts but now with TPIS heads and not stock heads.
