I don't believe insurance companies can write policies for minors any more???

You are an inexperienced male driver under 25, even worse, under 18. You could buy a flatbed truck and the insurance rate would still be high.

I've priced insurance for my son and whether I put him in a toyota, or a Mustang GT/Camaro the difference was around $12 per month. That is without collision. It's all about the liability portion. Of course the rates were all $150 more per month than my daughters at the same age. Junior will be driving around in a 95 Z28 with Lt's/magnaflow and CAI

Umm $100 is a lot for just liability... Full coverage, ok yeah that's cheap... My insurance is $212 every 3 months for liability on my own policy... Which is just barely over $70 a month. My dad however can get the same coverage for $110 for 3 months on my car lol.
