I am looking into buying a 97 z that just got a rebuilt LT but the computer needs to be reset what do i need to do to get the motor reset?

reset how?

what do you mean reset.did he add/remove a bunch of mods it was tuned for?replace the computer?

im gona guess on this one and say u need to make sure all the sensors that were on the old motor are on the new motor. u need to be more specific on the motor change. the 97 has a different front cover from most other lt1s and i think it uses a crank sensor that is separate from the opti, this may be were your problem is. which computer did u use? what yr motor did u use to replace the one in the car originally? did u use all the sensors off the old motor?
