I have a question...
My cousin has a Camaro Z28 LT1...and hes going to sell it to me...it's an automatic..and I was wondering how much it would cost to have it changed into a manual..or is that even possible? Thanks!
i believe the 93-97 camaro's are hydraulic clutches,(im new to the camaro scene myself) (but i have a degree in automotive technologies) and if thats the case the clutch installation will be a pain to do it yourself and expensive to pay someone. the clutch lines are tied into the brake lines some how im not real sure. if you do it yourself have your local GM dealer print you some illustrations it will make things easier.

the bolt pattern is the same and the ecu should work you just might hafta geta custom chip made so that the comp will recognize the change and as far as the clutch master it should not be really hard to install if your gonna get a tranny from a junk yark you can just get the pedel assymbly and the clutch mastercylander also and there should be lil indentions in the fire wall where it all gose so there wont be a lot of measuring and figuring you may need the drive shaft cause it will probabley be longer than the auto and you will need the slave cylander and possabley the crossmember im not sure without comparing the two... hope this info will help you a lil just double check it all cause i may be wrong aboout some of it.. i have never don it before on a camaro but i have done it....
