RE: i got a question
Kelly Blue Book it, how much a car goes for is all dependant on the mileage and condition of that car, so it's pretty hard to generalize things. I'd say in most cases you're looking at under $7000, but after that it all depends on the car.

Why would you come on a camaro forum and ask that question. You shold know the anwser is gonna be bias. I have only lost to a couple of 5.0's most of them don't even have a chance.

RE: i got a question
the 5.0 has alot of cheap aftermarket. the car is pretty light as well. all in all, i really like the foxbodies.
however, with the lt1 u get a newer motor and car, so fewer problems to be expected. right out of the box the lt1 is quite a bit faster.
however, if u buy a fox you can take the money you saved and put it into the engine and wax an lt1. my buddy had a 95 5.0 (same engine in the heavier body style), and with edelbrock heads, e303 cam, trickflow upper intake and supporting mods he kept right up with my Trans Am. granted I was stock at the time, but my TA then was even quite a bit faster than a stock lt1. if he had done that in a foxbody he would have owned me.
so there is alot to consider. both cars will mod about the same, but the 5.0 will be cheaper, but more prone to breaking. if ur tech savvy u wont have any problems with either car. just have to take care of it. if it were me and I were on a tight budget id go with the lt1, if i had a little play money id go with the fox, if i had a ton of cash to spend get either
