i have a 93 camaro w/ LT1 and it shuts down at 123 mph i was told i need to re program the computer so i can go faster but i do not know how! I was used to changing chips!

 

With the 93's you can't really reprogram the computer, but you can replace the MEMCAL chip with an aftermarket chip, Hypertch or Jet, that the deletes the speed limiter. You can also get a new MEMCAL chip from GM which was programmed for cars with Z rated tires.
